Ender-3 V3 Mega and Ender-3 V3 Neo: how they compare with similar models
Creality’s two new Ender-3 V3 printers compared with the closest printers in the catalogue: build volume, multicolour, declared speeds, launch prices and what is still unknown.
At a glance
On 15 October 2026 Creality opened orders for two new printers. The Ender-3 V3 Mega has a 420 × 420 × 420 mm build volume and is aimed at large parts, small batches and TPU; the 220 × 220 × 220 mm Ender-3 V3 Neo is aimed at beginners.
The two printers share most of their declared specifications: direct-drive extruder, hotend up to 300 °C, bed up to 100 °C, maximum speed of 500 mm/s and acceleration of 8,000 mm/s². The Combo versions include the CFS Nano for printing up to four colours.
- Ender-3 V3 Mega Combo: US$669 or €699 (launch price)
- Ender-3 V3 Neo Combo: US$329 or €329 (launch price)
Ender-3 V3 Mega: large format with four colours
With 74 litres of build volume, the Mega is among the largest printers in the catalogue. It is also bulky: 590 × 588 × 697.5 mm and 21.2 kg declared. The closest alternatives by size are:
↑ Green: more favorable for the stated criterion. ↓ Amber: less favorable. Indicators compare documented values with matching technology and stated conditions; they do not identify an overall winner. Missing data, equal values and features without a clear advantage stay neutral. Claimed speed and pixel size do not guarantee actual speed or print quality.

Height and materials
On paper the Mega offers less height than its two rivals and fewer colours than the Kobra 3 Max V2. Creality lists PLA, PETG, TPU from 85A to 95A, ABS and ASA; the Kobra 3 Max V2 page lists PLA, PETG and TPU-68D, and the Neptune 4 Max page also ABS, ASA and PA.
Manufacturers do not write material lists the same way: a material missing from a list does not mean the printer cannot use it, and one that is listed does not guarantee the same results on every machine.
Ender-3 V3 Neo: four colours at an entry-level price
The Neo is the smaller of the two: 220 × 220 × 220 mm and 7.7 kg. In the catalogue it compares with:

Declared speeds
Compared with the Ender-3 V3, the Neo gives up 30 mm of height and declares lower acceleration, but adds the option of multicolour printing. Maximum speed and acceleration are manufacturer figures: they do not tell you how long a real print with quality settings will take.
What we don’t know yet
We have not tested either printer: all figures are those declared by Creality on its official pages and in the launch press release. Prices are launch prices and may change.
The catalogue has no purchase links for these two models yet. Among accessories, only dryers and vacuum bags are listed as compatible, based on the documented filament diameter (1.75 mm).
Who they are for
The Mega makes sense if you need to print large parts in one go and also want the multicolour option on the same machine. If you need more height, the Kobra 3 Max V2 and the Neptune 4 Max declare 500 and 480 mm respectively.
The Neo is meant for beginners who want to try multicolour on a small budget. If multicolour does not matter to you, the Ender-3 V3 declares higher speed and acceleration. The printer pages show ready-made comparisons with the most similar models.
