What’s new from 8 to 21 October 2026

Creality K3 pre-orders, two new Ender-3 V3 models, Prusa’s 400 °C hotend for the CORE One, awards for the Bambu Lab P2S and October’s trade fairs: the news from the past two weeks.

Creality: K3 pre-orders and two new Ender-3 V3 models

Since 12 October the Creality K3, with KliTek nozzle swapping, has been available to pre-order in the United States at US$849. The promotion runs until 30 November and includes four spools of Hyper PLA; the official store estimates first shipments from 2 November. The K3 is expected in Europe in December, but the European price has not been announced yet.

On 15 October Creality opened orders in the United States and Europe for the Ender-3 V3 Mega (420 × 420 × 420 mm) and the Ender-3 V3 Neo (220 × 220 × 220 mm). In the Combo versions, the CFS Nano prints up to four colours. Launch prices: US$669 or €699 for the Mega Combo, US$329 or €329 for the Neo Combo. We compare them with the closest models in a separate article.

Prusa: HT hotend up to 400 °C for the CORE One family

Prusa sells an upgrade kit with an HT hotend rated up to 400 °C and an ObXidian 500 hardened nozzle. It fits the CORE One, CORE One+, CORE One+ (Gen 2), CORE One L and CORE One L+, but not the INDX system. The official store lists it at €199 including VAT for delivery to Italy.

Before ordering, check on the product page which materials Prusa lists for this hotend: the maximum temperature alone does not tell you whether an engineering filament will print well on your machine.

Bambu Lab: awards for the P2S

Bambu Lab announced a NAPPA award and Parents’ Picks recognition for the P2S. They are not a safety certification and do not change the printer’s specifications.

ELEGOO at SPIEL Essen and Maker Faire Rome

ELEGOO will be at SPIEL Essen on 22–25 October (booth H5L125) and at Maker Faire Rome, at Gazometro Ostiense, on 23–25 October (booth M.21–M.22), with the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo.

The press release also announces a new resin printer and a product in a new category that has not been unveiled yet. Resin is outside the scope of the catalogue, which covers filament printing only: if the new product concerns filament, we will add it to the calendar.

In the coming weeks

Watch for the first K3 shipments in the United States, estimated from 2 November, and for the European price. The next roundup will be out in two weeks; dates stay up to date in the calendar, also via RSS and iCalendar.
